Remember remember the fifth of November

So the election is finally over and I couldn’t be happier. I’m not going to get into who I voted for and all that stuff. Maybe I will eventually post about that, but for now, can I just say that I am so excited that all this stuff is over with. I had gotten so tired of hearing about change, Joe six pack, mavericks, socialism, Joe the plumber, and all the other things that were thrown back and forth during this election. Why can’t an election just be the candidates saying what they think about certain issues and then people quietly voting for the one that they agree with most? Instead we have millions spent on ads that just talk about how terrible the other person is, and annoying supporters that will tell you that you are an idiot unless you vote for their guy. Please people, let me vote in peace.

I went shopping yesterday at this big outlet mall and they were playing Christmas music. Yes Christmas music! It’s only 5 days into November and we are already getting shoved into that season?

I am slowly becoming addicted to Twitter. It’s like blogging, but so much easier and quicker. I always find it hard to get the motivation to write a blog post, but a quick little Tweet on Twitter is so much fun.

  1. Today when I walked into Walmart to do my weekly grocery shopping I was greeted with a gigantic Christmas tree! I couldn’t believe it! All of the registers had Christmas presents decorating them and all of the fake trees and ornaments were for sale on the shelves. What happened to Thanksgiving? What happened to just celebrating the coming winter? I’m going to be sick of Christmas decorations and songs by the end of November! Crazy!
